UHD are seeking to recruit an experienced IT Cyber Security Manager to join its IT Senior Management team, working alongside the UHD IT Infrastructure Manager to continue to develop, modernise & secure the UHD IT/Digital services offering to the trust whilst being responsible for leading and inspiring a growing team.
This role will be responsible for the operational management, performance, and the continual strategic development of the Trust's Cyber Security Strategy and solutions to assure secure delivery of a 24/7 service to all Trust staff and critical business services.
We are looking for an individual with significant senior NHS experience with broad yet in-depth technical and procedural knowledge. The post holder must have experience delivering technical programmes and polices to the trust

You will be the Trusts accountable expert on cyber security protection, detection, response, and recovery and will utilise the resources available to you to offer the trust cyber security assurance on mandatory compliance activities as well as provide a service which is fit for purpose.
The role will be responsible for the management of the Cyber Security team across UHD
You will work closely with the Network, Infrastructure and Desktop teams and must understand the technologies in use across their respective functions.
You will be accountable for the planning, allocation and monitoring of the work and performance of the allocated cyber resources to meet agreed targets for delivery, adjusting workloads, allocation, and priorities to meet peaks and troughs of work.
You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Trust Cyber Security Strategy, which includes vulnerability/penetration testing, staff education and training, phishing simulation campaigns, implementing and planning of current and future digital security solutions, researching and reviewing industry best practice, and upcoming changes to technology.
You will own and be responsible for the completion of all digital and cyber elements of the Data Security Protection Toolkit as well as all related Cyber Security assurance and compliance activities.
