You will serve as a Shipfitter Material Handler responsible for layi.....
- You will serve as a Shipfitter Material Handler responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing various metal structural parts of submarines.
- You will perform a variety of related duties to support the refit operations conducted at TRIREFFAC-KB.
- You will receive materials from the supply department and perform inspection/verification of incoming material IAW local TRIREFFAC-KB guidance such as IPI-0610-130-00lA and system drawings.
- You will ensure supply system material is identified with the NSN/NIIN (or pseudo-NSN) applied directly to the material or its individual packaging.
- You will segregate the material while is it undergoing receipt inspection using signs and/or barriers.
- You will review documentation received with the material to identify the Job Control Number, which is typically noted on the Material Movement Document.
- You will receive unused, less than issue unit quantities of Hazardous Material from center personnel.
- You will identify and quantify usage and properly store material for later issue or properly transfer material to Satellite Accumulation Area.
- You will be responsible for determining the receipt inspection requirements by the Automated Work Request (AWR) and the Job Material List (JML).
- You will be determining if the material is designated for Quality Assurance inspection or for shop inspection and ensuring inspections are completed in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Starting at $24.23 Per Hour (WG 8)
