Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) detecting and tracking solution defects and inconsistencies. Design and develop automation/test scripts (Automation first approach), providing timely solutions and supporting documentation, including test packs for customer(s). Present test evidence and lead discussions around findings. Complete all aspects of Functional & Non-Functional testing ensuring collaboration with the development team to develop effective strategies and test plans. Complete security test scripts on products such as XSS and SQL injection tests where applicable on products, generating detailed reports for technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders. Investigate security alerts and provide incident response, feeding back to relevant parties where necessary. Help troubleshoot and resolve issues and conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.

Hays Recruitment require Security Operatives to work on a high security site in Leicester, for a public sector organisation.
Main duties of this role will be to work within the security department of the organisation, working on a shift pattern basis. The shifts vary and will fall between the hours of 6am and 9pm.This will involve working 5 of the 7 days per week and will include some weekend work.
Responsibilities will include:

• Manning the gatehouse
• Checking in visitors for staff
• Escorting visitors around the establishment
• Working in the mail room checking post
• Assisting on prison wings when required
• Working in stores and generally assisting in any departments as and when required.

This role is a fundamental part of the organisation and requires you to have good communication skills, be able to follow strict procedures and have initiative to notify senior staff if there are any problems. You will be required to have an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation to ensure you are able to work on site. The security clearance will require you to have photo ID such as a valid passport or photo card driving licence.
Full training is provided but it would be beneficial to have prior experience of security, using radios and handling multiple keys for one site. A uniform is also provided.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
3 to 4 years of experience in a security analyst or related position.
Work experience with the following technology vendors and products: Splunk Cloud, Rapid7 Nexpose
Thorough understanding of Microsoft’s enterprise technology platform, including Azure, Active Directory, SQL, Office365, and the Windows server and desktop operating systems.
Demonstrated experience implementing and/or enforcing security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, Cobit, and ISO, vulnerability Scanner, Sophos Antivirus, Varonis DatAlert, ForeScout CounterACT
Technical knowledge of enterprise-class technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, and desktop and server operating systems.
Engage with key stakeholders to support internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance with regulations such as: SOC, FCA, NYDFS, GDPR, HIPAA
One or more of the following certifications: CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GSEC

Here at Serco, we are looking for a Safeguarding and Public Protection Prison Support Officer to join the team at our new state of the art Category C prison, HMP Fosse Way.
The role of a Safeguarding and Public Protection Prison Support Officer is to offer Operational Support within Offender Management Unit.

What we are looking for
· This position requires upmost trust and decorum when dealing with sensitive information.
· A team player with flexibility and interpersonal skills with visitors, staff and prisoners. Good communication skills and the ability to monitor and audit processes and procedures.
· Organisational and analytical skills.
· Understanding of working in a secure environment

Full training will be provided, and the following duties will include

· To report directly to the Public Protection Manager and carry out the duties detailed by them.
· To process child contact applications from prisoners in accordance with the Public Protection Manual. Closely liaising with external agencies to complete this process.
· To collate and gather information from prisoners files on arrival at HMP Fosse Way, processing this information into a format that can be effectively shared with internal and external agencies.
· Effectively manage prisoners ViSOR records, updating any information when required.(full training will be provided and paid by Serco)
· To monitor telephone calls, incoming and outgoing mail and to report any intelligence gathered from this monitoring. Follow any process resulting from the intelligence gathered.
· To ensure that all monitoring is conducted within the relevant legislation and that the correct authority is granted to do so before any monitoring takes place.
· Ensure that all monitoring is logged correctly and the required data from that monitoring stored safely and securely.
· To ensure that all prisoners with restrictions will have the relevant checks before being added to their list.
· To liaise with the Police Information Officer and support them in the gathering of evidence.
· To gather intelligence from IRs and assist the Security Manager
