This position is responsible for supporting Risk Weighted Assets "RWA" Analytics within the Capital Controllers Group, specifically focused on derivatives analysis and RWA calculation relative to Basel Rule.

The candidate will work closely with key partners leading the Standardized RWA transformation efforts including Basel III Endgame readiness. Key partners including the Business, Markets Transformation, Chief Data Office (CDO), Capital Planning, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), Corporate Regulatory Reporting (CRR) and Finance and Risk Management.

The candidate will have a strong understanding of trading book exposures and a solid track record of performing detailed financial analysis, root cause analysis, impact assessments, financial reporting, Board reporting, and developing key performance indicators to measure success.

Key success factors will be this position’s ability to deliver on key milestones within the finance transformation efforts, establish trusted partner relationships with key stakeholders and effective expectation management through superior communication and metrics within the RWA workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Support analysis of Basel RWA Reporting based on US Regulatory requirements.  Primary focus will be on the Trading Book RWA (Derivatives)
• Assess impact of transforming derivatives RWA data model
• Build standard metrics reporting, impact assessments, and reporting of ongoing monitoring of any exceptions
• Recommend goals, changes, and plans for RWA Reporting for relevant scope
• Ensure close processing financial controls are performed as expected
• Represent RWA Close & Operations communications and discussions with internal and external auditors, Independent Risk Review and Regulators where Derivative data and processes are discussed
• Develop analytics packages and key performance indicators using large complex datasets
• Provide inputs for UAT testing and results validations for the RWA Reporting Change manage process
• Leverage project plans and metrics to coordinate, execute and track key activities and deliverables and monitor and continuously improve processes and systems.
• Work closely with key partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals, robust status and expectation management including collaboration to remove roadblocks and optimize opportunities.

Qualifications – External

The ideal candidate will have 6+ year’s work experience in finance, accounting and / or risk. Experience managing large projects in complex operational environments. Solid team building and Leadership track record.

Job Description Summary:
 

A key aspect of the IA Data and Technology group’s responsibilities is to provide Internal Audit with business intelligence and insight to enable strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. Reporting to IA’s Business Intelligence (BI) Lead, the BI Lead Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across IA and Global Functions Technology to enable, manage and support IA’s Business Intelligence environment.   

This role will assist in defining the strategy for IA’s Business Intelligence department, including processes, governance, branding and reporting.  The role requires a combination of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization while delivering exceptional insight and analytics to Internal Audit.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards, reports, and other business intelligence and analytics in a variety of platforms, including IBM Cognos and Tableau.
• Develop and maintain good working knowledge of IA’s methodology, especially as it relates to audit execution, issue validation and other assurance activities, and the subsequent impact of these activities on IA’s metrics.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Apply knowledge of the function to identify and implement control points and processes throughout Legal and RSP.
• Identify gaps in implementing policy documents and draft appropriate procedures to meet requirements of the Citi Policy governance operating model.
• Ensure timely execution of transformation milestones, deliverables, and activities in both the Global Legal and RSP functions as required.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls
• Oral, verbal, and written comprehension Spanish language skills are highly preferred
• MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic a plus. 5+ years’ experience in financial services.
• Proficient with the Manager’s Control Assessment module.

The Business Risk and Control Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple risk management programs supporting Citi Businesses (Issues Mgmt, MCA, Audit Support, Process Improvements, etc.) and how they achieve the objectives of the function. Responsibilities:

• Ensures identification of appropriate risks which impact Transformation governance and delivery, and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
• Serve as R&C stakeholder for Transformation Management supporting timely closure of Regulatory Issues, Consent Order Commitments, and IA Findings.
• Serve as primary liaison between Transformation Management and Second/Third Line of Defense teams.

• Manage the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommendations holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
• Support review and challenge, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution. 
• Exercise control over Operational and Compliance Risk in accordance with established Policy requirements.
• Identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories (Operational Compliance, Strategic, Reputational, etc), including material, emerging and concentration risks in accordance with enterprise Policies and the establishment of Key Indicators to monitor risk exposures.
• Assess Risk Appetite and monitor / assess exposures against this in accordance with enterprise requirements (if applicable).
• Take ownership to identify, assess, record and response to Operational and Compliance Risk events, ensuring these are captured accurately, timely and in accordance with requirements.
• Assess the risks associated with new activities and changes to the Business, ensuring these are well understood and adequately controlled (if applicable).
• Take ownership to ensure that risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within FLUs, including providing training and leading by example.
• Guide and influence standards and procedures that conform to enterprise requirements and support sound operational and compliance risk management.
• Apply knowledge of the business, products or services to identify and implement control points and processes throughout the business.

The Chief Operating Office (COO) Workforce Planning (WFP) Program Adoption Lead is a senior position reporting to the COO Workforce Management Implementation Lead and responsible for the adoption of Workforce Planning transformation programs across the Chief Operating Office.  The COO WFP Lead will work across COO organizations to coordinate, plan and facilitate adoption of Accountability Culture & Talent (ACT) transformation programs. Through strong engagement with WFP and COO Teams, the COO WFP Program Lead will proactively communicate both WFP strategy and implementation plans and work with relevant stakeholders to build, manage and monitor implementation plans across the COO. The position will also enable successful closure of ACT programs by ensuring full and consistent alignment with Transformation Program Office activities and artifact delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the COO Workforce Management Implementation Lead by planning and coordinating adoption activities for Workforce Planning transformation activities inside the COO. 

Successful candidates will engage with key stakeholders in ACT & COO organizations to ensure timely adoption all in-scope programs. Work with ACT/WFP teams to understand and communication planning dependencies, changes and solutions.  Work with COO stakeholders and SMEs to identify, manage and resolve risks and issues.

Lead and participate in project governance activities as required. Own and manage relevant Transformation Program Office processes and artifacts as required (e.g. scoping, closure, etc).

Engage Program PMOs to manage PTS, Jira and related systems for status updates and progress tracking.  Creating status updates and support senior management with program information as needed.

• 10 -15 plus years of experience working directly with senior management
• 8 plus years of proven project management skills including significant risk management experience
• 8 plus years of Financial Services experience required

Operational Risk Management (ORM) – Data Risk is part of Citi’s second line of defense (2LoD). Our mission is to drive comprehensive and consistent practices designed to identify, measure, monitor, report and manage operational risks while promoting the implementation of actions to address root causes which may lead to unintended operational losses.

ORM-Data Risk consists of experienced professionals who apply subject matter expertise to objectively evaluate, independently oversee, and constructively challenge first line of defense (1LoD) teams, governance, processes and controls.

Responsibilities:

• The Data Project Execution Risk Oversight Risk Officer role will coordinate a central function advancing internal program management for oversight of the firm's data program as well as contribute to challenge of project execution of this program. The ideal candidate will be well versed in risk management and data governance with experience in these domains across the lines of defense.
• Facilitates coordination largely by leading by influence across an broad team of data risk officer subject matter experts and leaders executing a diverse set of risk reviews.
• Builds key stakeholder relationships to ensure comprehensive representation in the creation of pragmatic and executable strategies for improving Citi’s data risk posture.
• Facilitates accurate and appropriate reporting of operational risks to senior management and regulators. Demonstrated experience in regulatory or internal oversight engagement.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in managing risk during program and project execution in alignment with industry standards and norms. 
• Background in Data Governance, Technology, and/or Program Management/OperationalRisk/Enterprise Risk Management in related disciplines.
• Previous experience defining program/project requirements based on Supervisory engagement.
• Exceptional influence skills in driving organizational change and leading teams across reporting lines.
• Proven skills in leadership and strategic planning.
• Knowledge of principles of the data management lifecycle and data governance, in general.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors. Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships. In depth knowledge of operational processes and technology platforms supporting Citi's data operations. Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
