The Role
We are looking for an Advance Implementation Project Manager to carry out the day to day project management and be responsible for co-ordinating activities between VolkerFitzpatrick and the Advance implementation team. Working with the Advance delivery team and VolkerFitzpatrick to gather feedback and temperature check, escalating any concerns. You will be the VolkerFitzpatrick business unit lead for Advance; the implementation of our new integrated system for commercial, finance, plant, and procurement. Instrumental in the successful go live.
Key Accountabilities
Accountable for:
VF team meetings, actions, progress
Managing BU UAT/BSR testing
Accountability for and guidance on data and reporting
Management & guidance of Data migration
Change Impact Assessment
VF Engagement Strategy & Management
Training Planning
Responsible to the Project Director for:
Project reporting including risks
Creation and management of plan/programme
BU sponsor update and communication
Confirmation of acceptance criteria
Management of cutover plan for BU
Liaison with other VWUK Companies
Coordination with Advance Leadership
VF Advance Cost management/reporting
Coordination with Advance Central team
Benefits tracking
Liaison with Divisional sponsors
Updating relevant business processes
Skills and Experience
In this role, you should have the following qualifications/expertise:
Expertise in the end-to-end delivery of successful projects
Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Demonstratable experience and/or formal project management qualifications, tools and techniques
The ability to manage multiple workstreams, conflicting priorities, multi-site projects as well as scope change and risk management
Update the programme with project activities and ensure task statuses are updated
Manage risks and issues to the project, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary
Excellent outstanding stakeholder, people management, coaching and leadership skills
Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile working techniques
Ability to grasp issues of a business nature and assess the technical impact and vice versa
The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
Desirable:
Experience working in the construction industry
Prince 2 Practitioner
