Your new companyOur client is looking for an experienced Wills Writer and Estates Planning Paralegal to join their well-established department and currently has several positions available. This role is a home working position involving some travel to one of their offices nationally, however they offer a flexible and agile (home) working environment along with hybrid and in-person options, so you can adjust your location to suit your personal circumstances. (For example, their Bristol office is based just outside of Bristol city centre, and they are located in a very commutable location from South Wales, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.)Our client also offers internal trainee solicitor programmes (with a lean toward estate planning), along with lots of opportunity for progression.
Your new roleIn this role, you'll manage estate planning cases end to end, alongside drafting and taking instructions on a variety of wills and associated estate planning documents. You'll communicate with clients remotely, providing an outstanding service and case resolution. You'll gain exposure to a variety of cases, allowing you to build on your knowledge within a supportive team.

You will:
* document and write wills of various complexity, write powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation, making sure all paperwork is accurate and professionally written
* communicate with clients and external partners via the phone and written communication throughout each case
* manage an incoming case load and work with those parties involved towards the successful completion of a case

About youThese roles are open to experienced private client paralegals with experience in drafting wills and advising clients regarding estate planning matters. You will be an experienced paralegal or will writer with previous experience of drafting wills and advising clients relating to estate planning matters. You should also have the ability to build positive relationships with clients and always be looking to give excellent customer care.

***Bristol-based client, but you can do this assignment 100% remotely***
Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the business partnering and management accounts function, to work closely with the Corporate Service directorate and, in particular, Digital Services.

• Required start date: 2nd December - initially for 3 months (likely to be 6 months at least)
• Paying between £475-£525 a day via Umbrella or PAYE (inside IR35 role)
• Requires full SC clearance that is valid for the duration of the assignment, which could be until May 2025 initially.

• Managing two Management Accountants.
• Getting involved with preparation for the interim audit and year-end audit.
• There is also a potential to get involved with the wider programme of work as they migrate to SAP4Hana in April 2025.
• They are also working on a business wide spending review and aligning this with the budget-setting process for 25/26.
  

Key deliverables

• Be able to embed quickly into the corporate services directorate as a finance business partner, meeting stakeholders, particularly in the digital area.
• Understand what the business drivers are and collaborate on setting budgets for 25/26 and assist in both Interim and Year end Audits.
• Prepare monthly reports, provide analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies.

Key requirements to apply:

• Full professional qualification in accountancy UK CCAB or CIMA* with current membership of a professional body
• Experience of effective relationships and stakeholder management skills with the ability to persuade, influence and motivate others to engage actively in good financial management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear non-technical way, including through report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience of budget setting in a time-pressured environment using a variety of tools and knowledge and business intelligence.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Robust analytical and interpretative skills.
• The ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge.

Your new role
Within your new role you will be working within the major infrastructure Project Manager team based out of Bristol. Working on projects such as major rail, water, and highways and aviation projects. You will be working on a range of complex and diverse infrastructure projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Hold or be working towards a Project Management Qualification with APM, RICS or similar.Experience of infrastructure projects and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.
• Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
  Experience in the adoption and management best practice Project Management techniques.
  Knowledge of pre and post contract Project Management responsibilities and-able to deliver this service effectively to clients.
• Significant experience and working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts is required. NEC Accreditation is preferable.
• The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle.
  Have strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working with multiple types of stakeholders with a diverse range of personalities across our client base.
