If so, we’ve a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Planner to join us in Chelmsford.
About the Role
Joining our team, you’ll provide programmes, analysis of programmes and communication with the team as required by the Senior Planner / Planning Manager and produce and assist in the production of tender logistics plans, method statements and temporary works schedules. Assisting project managers with onsite planning and reporting requirements, you will manage your own tasks, taking day to day decision on your own, and manage costs and quantities on small projects or as part of a team on a larger project.
About You
Educated to degree level in Building Studies (or equivalent), you’ll have extensive experience in programme / project management and project planning (including programme controls, project reviews, and cost and risk analysis). You’ll be competent in project management software to include Primavera P6 or Asta PowerProject and have experience of working on multi-discipline construction projects within the sectors Morgan Sindall operates.
With good attention to detail and the ability to work to challenging deadlines, you will work well as part of a team and be self-motivated to work on own initiative. You’ll have well developed numerical and analytical skills and have a creative approach to problem solving.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
