Position Overview:
The Mechanical Designer / Technical Writer is responsible for developing and interpreting technical documentation, including detailed engineering drawings, risk assessments, and design specifications. The role requires a blend of technical design expertise and strong communication skills to ensure that complex technical information is conveyed clearly and accurately. The ideal
candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and will be capable of assessing technical drawings to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, modify, and review detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software.
Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to develop design solutions that meet project specifications and objectives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, operating instructions, maintenance guides, and safety protocols.
