What is the job role?

We are looking for someone to oversee and coordinate new projects that are currently being piloted within the Skills and Employment Team supporting residents and our culturally diverse communities.

The post holder will be required to lead, co-ordinate and facilitate the projects and able to analyse, understand and interpret data, as well as covering a range of duties directed by the Project Lead. You will represent the Service across a wide range of forums and will need to demonstrate effective communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

These projects are funded by the UKSPF grant and require additional staff to ensure their successful implementation and delivery.

These new projects will be for a fixed term and funded until 31st March 2025.

The Project Lead role will ensure workstreams are planned and managed effectively, taking the lead in ensuring their successful delivery against agreed timelines and plans, and for the management and reporting of risk. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will be working on a high profile, fast paced SCADA project for Network Rail. This is a hands-on role where previous expertise working on Rail based projects is essential. The role offers hybrid working, with travel to sites in London & Warwick on a bi-weekly basis.

What you'll do:

• Provide day to day management and direction and support to the assigned Project Delivery Team, providing regular and effective communication and prioritisation.

Key responsibilities:

Support the Impact and Performance Team Lead with the implementation and upkeep of robust monitoring and evaluation processes.
Maintain the integrity of all systems and tools including databases and performance reports including tracking all trends and insights to support our customer journey improvement plans.
Review and provide feedback to relevant project managers on all customer support data monthly and quarterly reports (claim forms) from Better Days internal and external partners.
Contribute to the production of high-quality monthly & quarterly impact reports, data returns and benchmarking for internal and external audiences using qualitative and quantitative analysis and insights.
Undertake research and/or evaluation for Ad-hoc reports.
Support Colleagues from the Thriving Communities team to undertake and deliver activities to high standards of impact and compliance. Where necessary, provide guidance on impact requirements e.g. impact and social value outcome measures.
Monitor and track the compliance of all Better Days projects and report any risks identified to the relevant project manager and senior management team.
Ensure the monitoring and evaluation of the Impact and Performance Team’s work is undertaken in line with GDPR and data protection requirements whilst ensuring Information Governance colleagues are consultant and informed as appropriate.

Your new role
