We are looking for someone to join our BCA Logistics and Business Efficiency team in a dual function role. You will help deliver real change in the business through a process of continuous improvement whilst playing a key part in maintaining our ISO accreditations covering 9001, 14001 & 45001. You will manage a team of two and be predominantly based at our Solihull office. We’re looking for someone with experience in continuous improvement and working ISO knowledge, but specific training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for process improvement and cost reduction in line with the BCAL leadership team objectives.
Develop business cases to assess cost vs benefit before proceeding with a CI Project. Ensure input from all relevant Business Stakeholder(s) including Finance, Operations, Commercial, I.T. and other cross functional / impacted teams.
Take leading role in delivering CI Projects with cross functional business teams within the agreed implementation timeline.
Work with wider BCAL Senior Management Team to identify new opportunities.
Assist in maintaining accreditation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001, plus ISO 14001 & ISO 4500.
Design & manage a programme of internal quality & compliance audits.
Complete pre-External Audit checks to ensure Quality Procedures & Quality Controls are in place & adhered to.
Consult with external auditors and maintain strong working relationship.
Define & maintain Internal Quality Procedures & Controlled Templates / Forms.
Maintain Risk Register, detailing known vulnerabilities, risks, impact & mitigation plans.
Key Skills
Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
ISO Industry experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - with ability to present at all levels.
Articulate / numerate / PC literate with Microsoft packages especially Excel, Power Point & Visio to advanced standard.
Experience in End to End (E2E) process mapping.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.
Problem solver and able to work under own initiative.
Ability to operate under pressure / tight deadlines.
Team player with great flexibility.
