What experience will you need as our new Quality Inspector?
We're open to considering your application whether you're relatively early in your career as a Quality Inspector, or perhaps you're more experienced and you're interested in taking on more of a Quality Lead role.

Either way, you’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector, comfortable completing first offs and in-process inspections, carrying out first article and final inspections against drawings to precision tolerances.

You’ll probably have more than two years’ experience of working as a Quality Inspector but if you have the skills already in less time, then we'll welcome your application too.

You'll have had some exposure to handling non-conforming parts, and it would be great if you have experience of producing non-conformance reports, working very closely, and regularly meeting with, customers to work through engineering challenges together.

As an experienced Quality Inspector you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in using a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of machined metal components to include gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, CMM and similar equipment. You don't need to know how to program a CMM because we have people who do, but you will need to be able to use one confidently. Depending on the level you join us at, you may also be spending more time working closely with our Directors on Quality Management Systems, processes and documentation, carrying out non-conformance investigations and reporting, and working with our customers to overcome engineering challenges together.

Job title: Quality Inspector
Location: Tewkesbury, commutable from Worcester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas.
Working hours: 39 hour working week, day shift, early finish on Fridays, overtime readily available.

What is the main role of the Project Coordinator?

This role is essential to ensure that that all aspects of administration for the day-to-day project coordination work are completed in an efficient and timely manner ensuring that projects are executed, reported on, and completed efficiently in accordance with delivery timescales and processes.

You will drive the project forward, document processes, update systems, solve problems, troubleshoot issues and escalate issues to the Project Delivery Manager/ Project Manager.

What are the key role objectives & responsibilities?

As the Project Coordinator you will provide support for all elements of field based projects whilst ensuring all daily requirements are met including monitoring progress in field. You will use external online portals to align access permits & prioritise, coordinate and schedule daily work and system updates. This can include producing work packs and ensuring instructions are issued to field representatives that are appropriate and effective. You will also ensure field engineers have the correct H&S documentation for all site activity.

The Project Coordinator is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of records including data sheets, project documentation and reports, ensuring all data captured is accurate and meets the specific requirements. Role & Responsibilities:

Ability to perform various engineering tasks across a range of product development processes

Liaise with customers, understanding their requirements and translate into engineering documents, specifications & test procedures

Creating technical reports for customers, presenting and communicating technical work to engineers both internally and externally

Ensuring projects are completed within the agreed time phase, budgets and cost constraints

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Mechanical Engineering Degree

Experience of interpreting of engineering drawings and experience with CAD software - Siemens

Understanding of manufacturing processes, strength of components and a strong understanding of materials
