The post holder is responsible for timely issue resolution in existing products across various technologies, from simple to complex systems such as SQL queries, SSRS reports and data flow packages.
They will also contribute to technical development improvements, maintain technical documentation, and perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
• Support the Business Intelligence Systems Manager.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and resolve issues, and to deliver change to existing products.
• Support, apply technical fixes and change to Data Services reporting products, such as ETL packages, reports & dashboards and database objects.
• Play a key role in advising on development processes.
• Look after the development and testing lifecycle of systems changes.
• Execution of other duties appropriate to the skills and experience of the post holder which may be identified by the manager.
• Take a proactive approach to developing own skills and experience.
• Work autonomously within professional and NHS guidelines, interpreting and acting on this interpretation as appropriate.

• Liaise with Data Services team to ensure that systems developments and associated reports meet the needs of the Trust.
• Deliver regular technical training to the Data Services team and other relevant areas.
• Supervise junior colleagues and manage projects.
