An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Administrator to join our Gastroenterology Team within East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust

Liver Surveillance Programme (LSP) – Project Support will support the hepatology team to fulfil the national requirement for a robust Liver Surveillance registry.

The EoE Cancer Alliances have worked collaboratively with Eclipse and the NHS Cancer Programme National Team to create a live interactive database to support the

LSP across the EoE Region by creating additional functionality into Eclipse database to:
• Improve the efficiency of attendance to appropriate LSP by providing reminders to patients.
• Integrate imaging and pathology results.
• Create a bespoke EoE protected service enabling clinicians to enter data into the standardised platform.
• Enable a ‘live’ audit and research in an IG compliant manner

This post is advertised as a 12 month fixed term / secondment, however there may be a possibility of an extension, dependant on national funding
• To identify patients that should be on the LSP that are not currently listed, including those that have failed to attend and / or are lost to follow-up.
• To populate the mandatory field template in relation to the Eclipse portal to ensure the named patient has been added to the portal with all relevant details.
• To work with the hepatobiliary service to ensure all patients that should be listed on the LSP registry are added appropriately.
• Ability to access local hospital patient administration systems and data to identify appropriate patients.
• To add newly identified patients to LSP as identified by the local service.
• To contact patients that are lost to follow-up or disengaged with LSP and support them back into the surveillance programme.

About the role - The role will be responsible for:

• Negotiating funding / investment opportunities with public and private partners including working with Homes England and other Government departments to help attract external funding to key projects in the city
• Identifying suitable land and property opportunities and working with colleagues on the disposal of MCC land for affordable housing
• Managing project risks & constraints, scrutinising development appraisals, coordinating the required project resources and managing professional teams
• Monitoring and reporting on performance indicators in line with our strategic objectives

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking to appoint a part-time People Business Partner, to work closely with our Head of People. This is a new role that has been created as part of our ongoing growth.
The People Business Partner will:
 serve as a strategic advisor and operational resource to school and trust leaders and staff, supporting the school leadership teams with all aspects of the people lifecycle and enabling them to deliver a well-run school that can focus on improving educational attainment for students.
 create and implement people policies, manage employee relations, and contribute to the development of the annual people plan.
 ensure compliance with employment law, lead on talent management initiatives, and foster a positive workplace culture.
You will have:
 CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a HRBP role or similar
 Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
 Experience of providing complex employee relations/generalist HR advice and guidance to Senior Leaders
 Experience of managing a significant caseload of HR cases from start to finish achieving successful outcomes.
 Experience of implementing effective HR systems and procedures
 Experience of developing positive and effective working relationships with Trade Unions.
 Experience of using HR and Payroll system

The client has consistently growing pipeline of work, this has mainly been with the public sector with some private work with projections of £2 million. The client types include; schools, trusts and university's. The client typically takes 80% of their work in a 20 mile radius.
Your new role
You will be working as a Mechanical Project Manager on a variety of different projects, usually overseeing 3 projects at a time. These can vary in value and typically are between £50,000 to £1.5 Million. Project types can be equally as varied with current examples including decarbonation of schools, school refurbishment and airsource heat pump install.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be preferable be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager within building services from any discipline. However, applicants with a strong Mechanical Supervisor background or applicants that have been working as Mechanical Design Engineer looking to make a switch over.
What you'll get in return
£40,000 to £60,000 + Car Allowance, 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (+ 3 extra days over the Christmas break)
