What You Will Achieve
Working with a dynamic team of procurement experts, you will play an important role in sourcing of goods, services and supplies. You will manage the sourcing requirements for all phases of the sourcing process, including project identification and start up, data collection and analysis, option development and recommendation preparation, implementation and supplier management for site-based activities. It is your hard work and dedication that will make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.
How You Will Achieve It
• Providing sourcing support for Research Material and Services (Pharm Sci., Research and Clinical/Medical) procurement categories.
• Support complex local souring initiatives, including spot buying as required.
• Manage creation and approval of contracts and ensure compliance with legislation and the company's policies and procedures in collaboration with the Pfizer Legal Department.
• Act as the site coordinator and liaison between client groups, suppliers, the appropriate sourcing teams and others for Research Material and Services activities
• Mediate to resolve supplier related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop impactful short- and long-term solutions for customers and proactively engage with them.
• Identify ways of improving the Procurement processes, tools, policies and procedures to drive efficiency and proactive engagement in opportunities
• Manage and develop supplier relationships at the site and ensure appropriate risk management is undertaken.
• Motivate and develop self and others to drive the business forward.
Qualifications
Must-Have
•Bachelor’s degree with at five years of experience in supporting both Material and Services (Pharm Sci., Research and Clinical/Medical) procurement activities.; OR
•Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience; OR
•Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience; OR
•Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR
•10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, including experience of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and ability to take initiative
• Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated
• Strong business systems knowledge and experience working with cross functional teams
Nice-to-Have
• Master's degree
• Relevant pharmaceutical experience
• Cross-site, cross-functional project skills and experience

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
