We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Project Manager. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including business units, vendors, and senior management.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and key deliverables to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Work closely with resource management teams to allocate resources based on project requirements.
- Monitor and control project financials to prevent budget overruns.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Proactively address project issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement best practices for risk management and issue resolution within the project team.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews and quality assessments.
- Implement and enforce project management best practices.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
- Active Secret clearance (no waiver) and ability to obtain and maintainin a TS/SCI
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a successful track record of managing complex projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,600 - 129,300 USD
