Main Duties:

At the heart of the academy, you will be business minded whilst playing a key role in the life of the students, doing duties and being part of the senior leadership team. You will manage the whole academy administrative function; line manage support staff and use Trust methods to maintain and monitor administrative systems.

Reporting to the principal and liaising with appropriate corporate directors, you will be responsible for the academy oversight of information systems and ICT, risk and critical incident management, transactional human resource management including payroll, facility & property management and the health & safety management of the academy.

The ideal candidate will:

Have 5 GCSEs, including English and maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Hold, or be working towards a relevant academy business manager qualification, such as NASBM
Have demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and training
Have experience in leading, managing and monitoring a team of staff
Have experience managing academy administration, systems and processes
Be committed to supporting the Trust’s agenda for safeguarding and equality and diversity, as well as the Trust’s values and ethos.

What will you be doing as an IT Project Manager:
Working as the single point of contact for the client and providing the overarching strategy and planning, this will include managing, and the ongoing justification of the business plan. You will be actively involved in the all-round Move Management from inception and programme development to completion and delivery. You will be working closely with the client to ensure that any problems are dealt with efficiently and the process is tailored for the client's convenience. Duties will include:
· Working on projects for the installation of IT equipment at customers across the UK, dealing with the whole of service delivery from receiving an order to handover with on-site system sign off with the client
· Acting as a single point of contact for installers and clients for each project
· Providing regular project updates and all related project communication
· Completing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
· Working to achieve project timescales and budgets
· Completing all project paperwork to ensure contracts with customers are adhered to
· Ordering miscellaneous essential items for installation
· Supervising installation engineers towards project completion to achieve a correct and completed installation
· Confirming dates and details with clients for each project, ensuring the clients are updated regularly
· Managing service delivery and Engineers' calendar/scheduling in projects, surveys, training, snagging, etc

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
· Previous experience in a Project Manager role working in an IT based role
· A project management qualification such as Prince2 would defintiely be interesting but is not essential
· Comfortable using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
· A full current driving licence and your own transport are essential (expenses provided)
· Customer focused and an excellent relationship builder
· A good problem solver
· Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
