Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector client for a Project Manager to work on a 12 month fixed term.

The role of the Project Manager will be to provide professional programme and project management expertise to deliver major change in accordance with both standard industry methodologies and the Project and Programme Management Framework.
The post holder's prime responsibility is to ensure that the project produces the required products within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
The post holder will support the transformation as it looks to deliver its long-term goal of delivering excellence.
The post holder is also responsible for the project producing a result capable of achieving the benefits as defined in the Business Case.
- Help define the project's objectives and desired benefits and will oversee quality control / performance throughout its life cycle.
- Matrix manage project staff, at all levels throughout the organisation, and co-ordinate and arrange training for the Project Team as required.
- Be required to continually develop project management methodologies.
- Lead, manage and ensure the successful delivery of individual local, national, and business as usual projects or multiple projects of significant size, complexity and risk; ensuring that projects produce the required products or outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The post holder has the authority to run projects on a day to day basis, within defined constraints, on behalf of the Strategic Transformation Board.
- Support the organisation in the funding and procurement of all internal and external resources necessary to deliver the project. Monitor project budgets during the life of the project and ensure alignment with approved expenditure or authorised business case.

Dealing or being involved with Roster changes
Essential
Experience of designing, implementing and managing projects.
Degree or equivalent professional / managerial qualification.
Knowledge of project methodology and IT packages Microsoft, Teams, Word etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
