We are looking for Warehouse Operatives for our client based in the centre of Yeovil. This is a temporary role working 37 hours per week until the end of December. This is a new warehouse with a great working environment.

Within this Warehouse Operative role you could be picking items, logging them on the computer, checking paperwork to make sure it is accurate, putting stock away in correct locations and helping customers potentially on a face to face basis or over the phone. You may also be required to help out in other areas of the warehouse, so your flexibility is key for this role.

Hours: 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm on a Friday. There is an option to start at 8am and finish half hour later too.

- Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and replacement of chassis and panel work. Where appropriate attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and produce development
- Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is always maintained, keeping the Company’s tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition
- To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment

Due to the size and complexity of the establishment, you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability.

The successful candidates would preferably have 3 years experience in a similar role.

Pay and Benefits:

From £33,000 to £57,000 (OTE – includes site bonus and is dependable on experience and qualifications)

Hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, 30-minute lunch break.

About you:
You must demonstrate
Extensive expertise in project management.
Experience serving as a superintendent’s representative on construction projects.
Proven track record of overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
Proficient in preparing project management plans, managing and updating project schedules, identifying risks, and implementing risk mitigation measures.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills that cultivate positive working relationships.
Solid financial acumen and experience in managing project budgets.
Consistent use of evidence-based decision-making, with innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement improvements and efficiencies.
Proficient IT skills for utilizing corporate systems in daily operations.
Willing to undergo pre-employment medical and police background checks.
Tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related field such as Architecture or Construction Management.
Prepared to undertake training to achieve Council’s Level 2 Procurement certification upon commencement.
