Project Coordinator (Home Retrofit)

Salary: £36,648 to £40,221 per year
Type: Temporary contract until 30 April 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Merlin House, Merlin Way, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 4RA
The council is leading local programmes to install measures in domestic properties in Erewash to improve the energy efficiency of residents’ homes. This role is an opportunity for a project coordinator with experience of energy efficiency projects to develop and lead these retrofit projects.
You will take a leading role in developing Erewash’s approach to implementing retrofit projects using your experience of developing and delivering capital and revenue contracts to plan, develop, direct, and implement energy efficiency schemes from start to finish, securing external funding as needed.
You will need:
• Experience of project-managing energy efficiency projects together with effective communication and presentation skills are also essential requirements.
• A good working knowledge of PAS2030/35.
• A willingness to take part in training to perform the role.
• An HND/Degree in building, building construction or equivalent qualification or experience.
In this role you will be required to travel within the local area for which you will receive a casual car user allowance.
