Day to day, you'll provide overall operational and strategic management of assigned tasks projects within your project team, as well as:

Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager

• Considerable experience in the advanced application of Project Management techniques in a relevant technical project environment
• Experience of working within the Defence and Security sector is highly desirable.
• Experience of working in an engineering environment
• Experience in leading and managing a team of project staff, providing direction and motivation.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects with differing demands and deadlines.
• Great financial management to ensure a high level of profitability on projects.

We are currently recruiting for an interim Account Manager to cover maternity leave, who will take responsibility for a dedicated FM contract with a major client(s). Qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience in a similar, high profile role.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (desirable).
• Proven track record managing operations or facilities maintenance for multi-site commercial building environment.
• Understanding of KPIs and performance management and a track record of delivering continuous process improvement.
• Understanding organisational requirements and systems in the areas of quality management, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental policies and general duty of care.
• Knowledge in areas of financial planning and control.
• Experience in managing clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
• Experience of leading, managing and motivating an operational and field-based team during periods of change and business growth.

You will be required to provide technical direction and support to the Emergency Planning function specifically in the development of the emergency arrangements within the Nuclear industry. You will use your expertise and experience to provide an integrated approach to the delivery emergency planning programme solutions.

• Development and deployment of effective emergency scheme-training programs.
• Development and deployment of effective emergency scheme- documentation and procedures.
