Your new company
You will be joining a high-profile main contractor working on water schemes in the Worcestershire area. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer.
Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
- Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
- Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
- Monitoring subcontract performance
- Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
- Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Knowledge of water treatment processes
- CDM and health & safety knowledge.
