Your new role
In your new role, as a Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for duties including but not limited to:

* Planning and managing the timely and profitable completion of a portfolio of client work which may include year-end and management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, VAT returns, management accounts, budgets and forecasts for selected clients, liaising with Client Relationship Managers and specialists across the business where required
* Review of assistants/seniors work, providing feedback and coaching
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contacts and colleagues
* Engaging and consulting actively with our specialists, co-ordinating their involvement in advisory work and identifying cross-selling opportunities
* Dealing with ad-hoc client queries, telephone calls and meetings
* Portfolio management duties including client take on, fee preparation and WIP/debt management

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a practice environment. The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification, be that ICAS or ACCA, and be comfortable managing a large portfolio of clients alongside a team of more junior employees. The successful candidate will also boast excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess a positive attitude towards their work.

The Role
As a Supply Planner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working as part of a newly formed supply planning team, you will be instrumental in ensuring supply availability meets operational demands.

Day-to-day, you'll provide material and inventory analysis on a unit by unit basis whilst mitigating any potential supply risks.

• Managing material requisitions through Babcock's ERP system
• Provide interface between project/production and supply chain
• Optimise planning for supply for planned / scheduled emergent works
• Reviewing inventory levels with a view to taking corrective action when needed
• Forward planning to identify supply risks

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the onsite and 1.5 days working from home.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience required of the Supply Planner

• Experience in the use of MPS / MRP systems
• Knowledge of inventory planning and control techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel advantageous
• Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills

Qualifications for the Supply Planner

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in relevant subject

Optometrist - Role

• Small group of independent Opticians
• Well established in the area
• Single testing room practices
• Working between a few branches all close together
• Working alongside an experienced dispensing team
