Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Buyer to join a dynamic team in Leeds. Role Overview: The Project Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships and procurement processes. The position requires collaboration with business managers to ensure corporate process alignment and continuous improvement in procurement practices. The successful candidate will be integral to the procurement team, working to achieve departmental KPIs and supporting project delivery plans.

Manage a suite of material categories.
Oversee regional supplier meetings, managing escalations and resolutions.
Schedule and conduct monthly supplier review meetings with key suppliers and stakeholders.
Conduct quarterly supplier account meetings to discuss capacity, commercial, and pipeline KPIs.
Report material costs to commercial staff to assist in cost reporting.
Collect, collate, and review key account information relating to suppliers.
Coordinate escalated invoicing issues with the accounts payable team.
Stay updated with industry and business information relevant to procurement processes.
Record savings and support the business in target planning.
Engage with key stakeholders and support project managers in developing project delivery plans.
Assist the estimating department in bid preparation and client negotiations.
Ensure timely communication of all internal reports.
Collaborate with the team to meet departmental KPIs, including material savings and cost avoidance.
Participate in relevant training and process activities.

Experience & Skills Required
Previous experience in a project procurement role.
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and good numeracy skills.
Commercial awareness and proactive approach to challenging the status quo.
Delivery-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting at various business levels.

You will be critical ensuring HMPPS meets it aims in protecting the public and reducing reoffending and gain unique experience which will enable you to progress in your career. The post holder will be working directly with young people and their families to support success in education. This role is therefore subject to robust safer recruitment, including an enhanced DBS check.

The following points outline the key responsibilities of the Project Support Worker role:
• To plan the overview of sessions and activities for each half term on projects that you lead, including resource management to a set budget.
• To line manage a small number of project support workers, fostering their personal development and well-being.
• To deliver whole team training sessions to share expertise on several occasions throughout the year.
• To attend strategic meetings with the Senior Team on several occasions throughout the year to input broader discussions and development.
• To complete student induction meetings prior to new students joining the centre, feeding key information around risk management to the wider team ahead of the young person beginning to attend.
• To be a good role model, leading by example in the way you speak to and about other people, and to challenge any judgemental behaviour that is not appropriate as outlined in our equal opportunities policy.
• To value the young people, (and all members of the team), encouraging and guiding them as activities are undertaken both in the centre and out on project.
• To work alongside other members of the team to deliver high quality sessions for young people.
• To work 1:1 with students who are unable to access small group sessions for a range of reasons.
• To complete planning paperwork, student record sheets and half termly reports for students you work with.
• To visit new students or those who are struggling to attend in their home/at school to encourage engagement.
• To arrive on time and understanding the importance of maintaining high levels of student supervision when students are present.
• To adhere to risk assessments for each activity, supporting the wider staff team to implement these.
• To work within the guidelines for behaviour management discussed at training.
• To adhere to the Safeguarding Policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
• Not to impose your own personal views or religious beliefs onto a young person.
• To undertake any such other tasks deemed appropriate by the Director or other members of the management team.
The role requires the applicant to have a full driving license and access to a car to use for work.

As Junior Digital Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working on small projects or deliverables within larger projects. This includes assisting with plans, risks, issues, and other project governance.

You'll will be tracking and managing progress and budget, contributing to accurate reporting for senior project managers and governance boards.

• Takes responsibility for the satisfactory completion of defined pieces of work or deliverables within larger projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines) delivered by internal teams and/or 3rd party suppliers.
• Experience of communication, and tailoring messages to a range of audiences.
• Experience of collaborating with stakeholders and/or suppliers to resolve complex issues, managing conflicting dynamics.
• Regularly monitor your own and team's work against milestones ensuring individual needs are considered when setting tasks.
• Familiarity of supporting the delivery of large SaaS products, preferably ServiceNow, or similar in a rapid cadence is also considered highly desirable for one of the vacancies.
• Experience of identifying and managing risks to ensure successful delivery.

Ability to foster enterprise relationships directly and successfully navigate a matrix organization.

An understanding of the credit risk life cycle, its products and regulatory constraints.
