We have an exciting opportunity to work as part of the South West Performance and Delivery Admin Hub. This hub provides support for the directorate and programmes within it. This role is a key part of the team, and is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Regional Operations Centre (ROC) so that the team can operate and run smoothly on a day to day basis.
The post holder should be resilient and adaptable, working in a high paced team supporting ever changing priorities within a team that is supportive and everyone’s views and values are important. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the directorate in providing support to our programme teams and enable to smooth running of a variety of different workstreams.
The successful candidate will work as an embedded team member of the South West Regional Operations Centre and will need to be flexible and adaptable to the ever changing environment. The role is busy and varied and requires someone with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail and advanced organisational skills.
The role will include but not be limited to the following:
• Meeting set up (both virtual and in person)
• Supporting management of the Admin Hub calendar and mailbox on a daily basis
• Management of the Regional Operations Centre mailbox and calendar
• Travel arrangements including hotel and train bookings
• Document and presentation formatting
• Note and action taking at meetings
• Work in a network of administrators within the Directorate and across the South West providing cover and support across the region on areas of subject matter expertise
• Cross cover support to other Business Support Officers in the team when annual leave / sickness cover is required
