My client is a large financial services organisation based in Cardiff and across Wales who have won a range of awards in recent years. They are looking for a Workforce Planning Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Your new role
The responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the organisations approach to managing talent, succession planning and resourcing to ensure they have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
- Collaborate with the inclusion manager to make sure the recruitment process remains diverse and inclusive throughout.
- Develop and manage the development programme for the Executive team for continuous learning.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders regarding succession planning by providing regular updates to board committees and external regulators.
- Guide and advise the talent acquisition partners to own and manage executives and board talent hire; and the preferred supplier list to ensure the best value from key agencies
- Be a direct report for 3 talent acquisition partners.
What you'll need to succeed
- CIPD or relevant experience.
- Significant experience managing succession plans and the design and deployment of frameworks and processes to ensure a visible leadership pipeline to board level.
- Experience of shaping and managing resourcing strategies.
- Line management experience.
- Knowledge of leading-edge attraction, recruitment and selection/assessment tools such as psychometrics.
What you'll get in return
The organisation is offering a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential of extension dependent on business needs, with a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 based on experience. You will be entitled to 25 days + bank holiday with the opportunity to buy and sell days, discretionary bonus of up to 12%, annual salary reviews, pension contributions and discount services.
