We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.

The company is a worldwide designer and manufacturer of specialist engineering equipment used in a wide range of applications including oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical and this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful organisation.

Based in Warwick, but with a requirement to attend client’s premises and sites as and when required, the role will involve ensuring the completion of Projects within budget, on time and to an acceptable level of quality, while conforming to company policies and procedures.

The main duties will include:-

• Reporting to the Head of Tech/Ops on all aspects of project progress and cost control.
• Establishing key customer contacts, developing and maintaining a good working relationship.
• Obtaining customer/materials/process sign off.
• Clarifying terms and conditions of contract and scope of supply.
• Ensuring Project Teams are recruited and trained
• Defining and communicating to the Project Team, their roles and responsibilities, their available hours to perform their tasks and the available budgets for their work packages.
• Directing and motivating the Project Team to fulfil their tasks.
• Developing, monitoring and managing the detailed project timing plan.
• Ensuring all milestone target dates are met.
• Validating project estimates and updating as necessary to provide basis for cost control.
• Preparing and monitoring/updating project cash flow plans.
• Providing monthly updates highlighting movements in outlook, cost to complete and margin. Giving detailed presentations of projects commercial positions at Monthly Project Review Meetings. Provide PoC forecasts for each quarter and updating regularly. Where applicable, reviewing and confirming content of monthly Project Cockpit Charts.
• Ensuring timely handovers to Service to create and manage the warranty project.
• Identifying and managing risks and realise opportunities in line with latest risk and opportunity template.
• Providing information to Sales/Proposals to enable quotations to be prepared for scope changes.
• Chair regular project meetings with client at frequency agreed within External Kick-Off and internally with Project Team on weekly basis and issue relevant minutes.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in manging large scale installation projects and will hold a relevant recognised engineering and/or project management qualification

Candidates will ideally be experienced with a range of fluid handling systems (typically building utility systems, and/or industrial chemical delivery systems) including pipework distribution, storage and conditioning facilities (e.g. temperature control/agitation), pumps, pipeline components (to fulfil isolation, regulation, filtration, safety, drainage, venting requirements etc).

In addition experience in some, if not all of the following are required:-

• Planning ability - to manage, implement, validate and produce timing plans for project work.
• Management of project cost control.
• High degree of computer literacy – knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Exchange, Project etc).
• Ability to prioritise work and be a good time manager.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team leader with experience of managing multi discipline teams.
• Ability to manage the quality aspects of a project.
• Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation.
• Good problem solving ability – able to identify the root causes of problems, apply solutions and check solution has worked all in a timely manner.

DUTIES

Your duties as a HR Business Partner / Human Resources Advisor will include:

• Provide operational expertise and management across the full-employee lifecycle, to both the UK office and the wider Global People and Culture Teams

• Partner, coach and support people managers within the UK office on a wide range of day-today people matters

• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with people managers by understanding key business objectives in order to define, create and deliver effective HR solutions

• Oversee the work of the People and Culture Coordinator providing coaching and support

• Identify, develop and implement key HR initiatives

• Manage the end-end recruitment process, advising on international recruitment and ensuring delivery of a positive candidate experience

• Partner with hiring managers on advertising strategies and content, establishing and negotiating with preferred agency suppliers, advising on the selection process and statistical monitoring

• Develop, implement and revise UK policies in line with global policy, UK employment law and best practice. Ensuring that diversity and inclusion is embedded in key policies and frameworks

• Lead on the development and delivery of internal work systems and processes

• Partner with the Learning and Development Manager/Advisor in informing the development of programmes to support capability building

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll, pension and benefits administration, liaising with the Finance Team and outsourced payroll providers

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• CIPD qualified in part or full

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience

• Substantial progressive experience in professional HR roles which should include recent experience working as a HR Operations Manager / HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor preferably within a global context

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures

• Demonstrated experience coaching and advising people managers

• Experience of managing recruitment processes

• Experience, knowledge and understanding of job evaluation methodologies and frameworks

• Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation and compliance requirements

• Knowledge of HR disciplines and best practices including a broad sector/global awareness

Job Purpose To provide high level, high quality executive support to enable the Chair and Chief Executive Officer to carry out their functions effectively. The post holder will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and an ability to organise their day-to-day workload, prioritising and managing large volumes of work to high levels of accuracy. Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will: Be an ambassador for the organisation and will be expected at all times to present a professional, welcoming and helpful image to colleagues and other organisations including providers and the public. Provide an efficient, high quality and confidential administrative and business support function to the Chair and CEO by planning, prioritising and managing complex, conflicting and priority workloads and portfolios. Manage the diary of the CEO and Chair coordinating and prioritising appointments, ensuring there is effective communication to all relevant parties and making all the necessary arrangements including travel. Ensure that all documentation is efficiently and effectively dealt with including operating a bring forward system; ensuring all necessary paperwork is available when required. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail on behalf of the CEO and Chair ensuring that any urgent or important business is brought to their attention in good time, and to re-distribute mail for action, prepare draft responses, follow up actions and make a record of any action taken. Ensure all communication is dealt with in a timely, efficient manner and deadlines are met, taking action where appropriate, in the absence of the senior members of the ICB.
