Responsibilities
Implement and provide implementation support for new product introductions and existing product changes that impact Manufacturing, using the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and other tools/processes.
Provide manufacturing floor operations support to include:
Improving and maintaining manufacturing process instructions
Supporting or leading lean efforts to improve cell layout, replenishment, 5S, standard work, visual management, and quality at the source.
Improving and maintaining Kanban’s and other replenishment processes to ensure components are always available and properly accounted for.
Manage labor standards/rates as tools to drive efficiency improvement and ensure accurate financial absorption.
Maintain manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs) so that replenishment processes correctly account for parts usage in Manufacturing.
Design and implement fixtures and processes to support manufacturing operations.
Lead or support manufacturing refurb process improvements.
Lead or support manufactured product quality continuous improvement efforts.
Perform other duties assigned to meet business needs.
Strong understanding of computer assembly and software for both new and refurbished computers will be a plus.
Experience and Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 yrs related work experience
5-10 yrs related work experience in lieu of degree
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across a variety of departments.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Appreciation and awareness for Manufacturing demand and prioritization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
