Technology & Global Services Plant Information Technology Leader
Manufacturing environment IT position focused on customer empowerment & success through tight customer relationships, Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives, enterprise support leveraging, standards, and collaboration between sites.
As the conduit between Local Manufacturing Operations and our enterprise Technology & Global Services group (TGS), the Plant IT Business Partner will partner with the Plant Leadership Team (Plant Manager/Director, Plant Controller, Engineering Manager, Facilities Manager, Quality/Regulatory Manager, CI Manager, H.R. Manager), Regional/Functional Business Partners (BPs), Technical Resource Managers (TRM), and other TGS towers as required to actively engage in facilitating, managing, improving, sustaining, and reporting regarding:
Plant IT Business Partner provides local ownership of BDX Technology
Plant Leadership Team TGS Contact
Direct route to TGS LT and other TGS towers
Facilitate conversations & Build Partnerships
Escalation/ownership of issues and concerns
Communication/support/direction/guidance of initiatives
Site-specific Technologies
Leveraging/Standardizing across sites where applicable
Technology integration
Local IT Project Management
Vendor Support
Assessing Infrastructure Needs
Purchased / un-installed equipment
IT/OT refresh & roadmaps
Unused / retired hardware
Budgetary/ASR considerations (forecast for local requirements)
Plant IT Business Partner provides Enterprise accountability for local technologies
Refresh and Expansion Requirements
New line, lab, warehouse
Application Lifecycle Management
Procedure guidance, leveraging, collaboration
Application Portfolio SME
IDF MDF Maintenance and Support
Capacity, local need / requirements
Upgrades and Updates to Operational Technology in the IT genre
Handhelds, Forklift Tracking, Vison Sys
Plant IT Business Partner provides representation for Compliance, CI, & Safety initiatives

IT contacts, Backup and Restore Process, Critical Systems Inventory

Qualifications
Required
Technical background - infrastructure, PC server, firewall, network, development, or manufacturing execution systems
Experience with continuous improvement
Strong communication
Project management experience
