This role will focus on:
As a Manufacturing Engineer specialising in Cleanroom Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and process integrity within our Tubing manufacturing plant. This role demands a meticulous approach to cleanroom protocols, a commitment to quality control, and a proactive ownership of both plant and processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise manufacturing workflows, implement quality assurance measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to strict cleanliness and contamination control measures.
- Implement and enforce cleanroom best practices across manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain robust quality control procedures for manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality teams to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.
- Own and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows.
- Act as a liaison between different departments to address and resolve manufacturing issues promptly.
- Provide technical expertise to support the development of new products and processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Engineering qualification such as Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, time served Apprentice with HNC in Process Engineering Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and/or qualified by experience.
- Experience of Plastic /Rubber extrusion processing within a Clean Room is desirable
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on cleanroom environments. (ISO Standards / MHRA Orange Guides / cGMP)
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts.
