We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a similar environment to our busy Switchboard Communication Centre.
Please note:This position is for a Nightshift Switchboard Operator working 4 nights on 4 nights off rolling shift pattern. 11.25hrs from 8pm to 7:15am per night shift. Working Bank Holidays as and when shift pattern falls on them. All Night duty enhancements included.
Overtime as and when necessary to fulfill the needs of the service but not guaranteed.
The duties will comprise of working as part of a Switchboard and Facilities Helpdesk Team.
You will be an essential link in the telephone communication system and the first point of contact with the public, internal/external medical staff, many outside organisations and many other crucial hospital calls.
The calls are often critical and the response not always straight forward.
Some experience is essential to this important role, full training will be given.
Dealing with staff and customers' requests through our helpdesk services, is extremely diverse as we can routinely be booking requests for a varied group of services within Capital, Estates and Facilities Division.
