A leading boutique Eyewear manufacturer based in Central London (Kings Cross) are looking for a full time Eyewear Production Manager to run their state of the art production facility.

This company have several Opticians across the UK supplying their own unique, handmade quality frames. You will manage all production through their workshop, as they grow to become one of the world's most innovative, customer centric, spectacles companies in the world.

Eyewear Production Manager - Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Managing the full end-to-end production of all Bespoke and Bespoke+ orders, received via stores or online via the company App
• Creating small commercial runs of frames
• Managing the production of all prototypes, samples and experimental frames
• Overseeing the production of technical drawings and CNC drawings
• Operating equipment such as in-house CNC machine, lasercutter, barrels, bridge bumpers, etc.
• Recruiting the workshop team, hiring, training and developing the team, including managing the rotas and resource requirements
• Managing all frame repairs and 'rehab' services, as well as frame matting, nosepads additions and other adjustments
• Sourcing materials (acetate, horn and optical hardware) and machinery to develop the workshop
• Training others on making spectacles, including frame making classes to the general public
• Producing regular reports for the rest of the team.
• Cataloguing and photographing all frames that come through the workshop to create a long term permanent archive
• Initially managing a team of 2 FTE. You will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing the team to be the envy of the industry.
• You will work closely with other parts of the business - operations, glazing, retail, ecommerce, customer services.

Eyewear Production Manager - Requirements

• Excellent and relevant experience of CNC and modern production methods are a bonus but not required
• Have strong experience in 3D Cad, such as Rhino, Autodesk Fusion 360 and Solidworks
• An effective builder of teams, taking pride in how you recruit, manage and develop your teams
• Have a problem solving mindset, and a dynamic approach to efficiency and improvement.
• Be a self-starter with plenty of energy, and outstanding at working under your own initiative and under pressure
• Have an impeccable eye and passion for design and detail, and high quality standards

• Optical experience is not essential. We're looking for transferrable skills and a hunger for improvement, over an approach to doing things a traditional way.

The Product Management Manager will lead strategic product initiatives for Entegral’s Bodyshop Solutions product line. This position is responsible for developing and managing an overall online product portfolio roadmap based on a deep understanding of customer needs, company strategy and the industry. This position requires intense collaboration across multiple IT and business groups and knowledge of technical concepts to lead both the definition and execution of a well thought out product strategy.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Product Development Operations (Repair) and work as a key member of the Product Portfolio Leadership Team. They will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and management of our product portfolio.

• Lead the ideation of new and innovative software as a service bodyshop products for customers; partner and coordinate with Product Discovery, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, other internal departments, and external partners to define product strategy based on customer needs and the long-term organisational strategy relating to data.
• Refine, through market research and stakeholder collaboration, a cohesive vision and strategy for Entegral's Bodyshop Solutions product line, including conceptualization, ideation, opportunity assessment, and prioritisation
• Manage product process, including creating and maintaining a living roadmap and overseeing business and functional product requirements
• Collaborate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to bring new products and features to the market
• Understand the business strategies, goals, and ROI measurements of Entegral products
• Establish key value indicators for evaluating product health and growth

• Deliver end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products.

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years industry experience in the field of UX/Product Design.

• Proven experience on a commerce experience in the past that focused on account management, purchasing a subscription service, and/or downgrading and/or cancelling a service, authorization, and or transactions.

• An online portfolio reflecting that experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology.

• Advanced expertise with leading design tools, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Sketch, Figma, and other collaboration and prototyping tools.

• Past experience working on a commerce product that entails a commerce journey.

• Demonstrated expertise and experience designing for web, mobile, and other application platforms.

• Seasoned design leadership skills with relentlessly high standards, and deep operational knowledge and expertise in every aspect of UX and product design.
