• Duties & Responsibilities
  • To report directly to Production Manager/ Assistant Production Manager and work closely with him to achieve departmental objective.        
  • To ensure the company’s quality system is understood in the department and implemented.
  • To work closely with production planner to initiate Daily Production Schedule with the reference to Master Production Schedule to meet customer orders and be able to deliver timely. 
  • To monitor, review and make improvement if required on all existing manufacturing processes which including the air flow testing at spray dried plant and chimney.
  • To assist department head in month end closing and reporting.
  • To review process parameters and manufacturing log sheets. To recommend any improvements, preventive actions and corrective actions where appropriate.
  • To review daily production report and to monitor actual production against the production schedule.
  • To ensure corrective and preventive action is taken for product, process, and system non-conformances and to follow-up on the offences of the action taken.
  • To lead shift supervisor to achieve smooth and efficient running of plant to meet operation target.
  • To train and develop technicians and improve competency and knowledge.
  • To carry out audits, inspections, and HIRARC assessment.
  • To detect existing or potential health and safety hazards, gaps identification and recommend corrective and preventive measures. 
  • To maintain a safe working environment with awareness and knowledge of site EHS standards and ensure compliance with local, state and federal EHS regulations.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc task as and when required by the superior.
• Requirements
  • Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years related experience manufacturing environment.
  • Working experience in chemical manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
  • Computer literate in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in spray dried plant or filter bag system is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge in ISO 9001 is an added advantage.
  • Able to work beyond normal working hours when necessary.
  • Able to work independently or with minor supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Job description

Duties:

• Assist with the preparation of food items
• Ensure the kitchen and production area are kept clean and tidy
• Check ingredients and food products for quality
• Package food items ready for delivery
• Adhere to food safety regulations and health codes
• Maintain production records

Requirements:

To support the operational aspects of production by performing administrative tasks and logistical management, ensuring everything, from welfare to transport, is organised. Good command of English (other languages are a plus) and willing to be groomed towards becoming an Assistant Director / Production Coordinator / Assistant Production Manager.

Production Assistants will also be trained in all aspects of production (no production experience required as training will be provided to successful candidates) and additional production workflow training and up-skilling will be provided to successful candidates after the probation period.

An entry-level position with basic knowledge in TV or film.

The Job

1. Responsible for assembly, debug and test run of customized modular machines and it’s commissioning.

2. Provide on-site technical support at customer premise for equipment operation.

3. Perform design modifications through: Simplified design, reduced parts, using cheaper alternatives, while maintaining or enhancing the performance of products in terms of cost reduction.

4. Procure and/or assist in the procurement of necessary items to enable the performance of above duties.

5. Writing and maintenance of all necessary documentations, work and assembly instructions, manufacturing and test procedures.

The Requirements

1. Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience.

2. Knowledge of industrial automation, jigs and fixture design, FMEA, SPC, CAD as well as experience in machine design are added advantages

3. Self-Disciplined with strong project management skills

4. Can work independently

5. Good interpersonal and communication skills

6. Required to travel when necessary
