About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for an Assistant Pan Boiler located at Invicta Mill in the township of Giru (50 km from Townsville). This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime; and day work only during the maintenance period.
The Assistant Pan Boiler is responsible for the production of low-grade sugar by monitoring and controlling batch/continuous pans, assessing crystal size and massecuite quality and making required changes to ensure sugar quality is met.
The ideal candidate will have:
Sugar processing experience
Working at Heights
Confined Space
Maintenance skills which are also highly desirable including any trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger, and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences
