- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. On a regular and recurring basis, utilizes trades and/or labor knowledge and skill to lead a team of three or more workers in performance of various related work. Performs work. Performs non-supervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led.

- Performs GMV Training and Certification within the Training, Validation Office (TVO) and leads other military and civilians performing training. Trains newly assigned military vehicle operators on a wide range of vehicles to include buses, tractor trailer, forklifts, wrecker/recovery vehicles, passenger vans/buses ranging from 12 passengers to 55 passengers.

- Administers Installation GMV Licensing Function and Installation Vehicle Misuse Program. Performs Operator Records and Licensing functions within the TVO office issuing and updating GMV licenses for personnel across JBSA.

- Drives buses, tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds to include wrecker/recovery vehicles, and one or more electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties. May be required to transport bulky and unwieldy items.

- Maintains records and documents actions. Properly completes operator/customer inspections checklists, forms and accident/incident reports as required.

• Works as Operator in Charge of the APE 1236 Deactivation Furnace utilizing unique methods and processes to dispose of various conventional munitions.
• Passes on to other workers instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led).
• Answers workers' questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (e.g., technical orders).
• Assures that safety and housekeeping rules are followed (e.g., assures that machine capacities are not exceeded and that tools are properly used).
