• Operates boom cranes where maneuverability is restricted and accuracy is critical. Uses and maintains tools and equipment.

• You will serve as a Crane Operator in the Waterfront Crane Division of the Weapons Department (SPK34) at the STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY ATLANTIC (SWFLANT) FIELD ACTIVITY OF STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
• You will move, remove, and position various items to and from the various class of submarines.
• You will be required to get licensed on each mobile crane used by SPK34.
• You will be responsible for conducting maintenance and certification/recertification on ballast assemblies and associated support equipment.
• You will be responsible to utilize the various mobile cranes to load/unload ballast assemblies to/from various ballast assembly transportation fixtures.
• You may be required to obtain a Class A CDL.
• You will be required to satisfactorily pass physical requirements necessary to maintain a crane operating license.

• You will responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all segments of range maintenance providing a completely integrated maintenance program aboard the Townsend Bombing Range (TBR).
• You will ensure safe operation of all range maintenance functions by continuous development of safe and efficient range maintenance procedures by establishing the safest and simplest procedures possible.
• You will participate in studies of TBR to determine the adequacy of TBR to accommodate projected requirements of land expansion and development, environmental planning, target development and facility maintenance.
• You will develop long and short—range plans for renovation, modernization, modification, automation, deactivation, and conversion/ commissioning of range facilities.

• Receives, examines and determines the condition and disposition of a wide variety of materials.
• Reviews disposal turn-in document accompanying material. Compares data against property assuring correct information and proper documentation (e.g. stock number, nomenclature, quantity, unit of issue, disposal authority code, DEMIL, condition code).
• Visually inspects usable property for obvious signs of condition and determines acceptability.
• Determines condition and reportability and special handling requirements (e.g., hazardous material, precious metals, security, DEMIL, Special focus items, etc.) and assigns appropriate classification instructions for warehousing.

• Propose the visual "treatment" of the subject, i.e., the nature of visual sequences in relation to the recorded narrative that will accompany them from scripts developed with and/or provided by the clients.
• Direct final editing of recorded scenes of productions shot in sequence and/or out-of-sequence to ensure continuity, effectiveness of action and dialogue or narrative.
• Use mass communication theories, industry standards and practice, and specific programmatic objectives to develop concepts and/or provide consultation regarding scripts for a variety of complex broadcast (video and audio) requirements (e.g. long format training and/or educational and informational live and pre-recorded programs, and audio files, public service announcements).
