SUMMARY:

This position is responsible to assist in controlling expenses; provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies; maintain non- union program; assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma with equivalent experience or college degree preferred.

Experience: 5 plus years of related industry; 5 plus years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility pork or beef preferred ; and knowledge of OSHA USDA and HAACP regulations.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials.

Special Skills: Leader problem solver team player.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise team members in the plant; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws; interview hire and train team members; plan assign and direct work; monitor and appraise work performance; reward coach counsel and discipline team members; address complaints and resolve problems.

Overview

The primary purpose of the crew member for this machine center is to ensure that a quality product is produced at a pace to meet production goals.

What you will do:

• Keep accurate daily paperwork utilizing Data System.
• Observe Safety rules and enforce safety rules with crew.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machine.
• Examine tags for specifications and any other necessary information.  Check for an “outswing” or other uncommon notations.
• Locate the correct drawing in the mull book and have it verified by another person.  Give grinding room a copy so the heads can be prepared.
• Locate the specified molded wood for the mulls.  Check quantity available against quantity desired.
• Confirm the drawing, template and head all should match the end work code and have it verified by machine operator.
• Set up shaper or blue saw to do the sill end work.  Have someone confirm the set up with the plastic template.  The end work is to be checked with the template every 25 mulls or each layer.  Check the mulls for square across the sill end.
• If head work is required double check the specs and have another person confirm specs and set up.  Check for tear out in the saw kerf area.  Use a piece 1/8” UHMW in the kerf to help control breakage.  Check with template every 25 pieces or each layer
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the maintenance and operation of the T-mull machine and saws.

What you will need:

• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting
• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Use a computer to read orders, and retrieve/update data as required.
• Able to accurately take measurements using a tape measure and calipers.
• Use hand tools, and push carts in a safe and efficient manner.
•  Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Ability to read, follow, and understand work instructions from both written and verbal sources and basic writing skills.

• The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a combination of tasks related to the receipt, storage and shipment of automotive parts and accessories. Additionally, this role will contribute to building Nissan brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming items by opening crates and other containers using hand tools.
• Verify, sort and move contents to specified area for distribution.

• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains all hot water boilers, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, auxiliary equipment consisting of water pumps, cooling towers, control air compressors, pneumatic/electric control valves, humidifiers, and exhaust fans. Cleans and performs preventive maintenance of boilers by blowing out tubes to eliminate sediment regulates feed water and condensation pumps lubricates pump equipment as appropriate. Monitors Energy Power Plant gauges and meters and takes taking appropriate action when responding to alarms. Test boiler and cooling tower water samples and chemically treats preventing corrosion and scale formation within the system. Monitors and replenishes maintenance inventory based. Coordinates with Lead HVAC/R Mechanic for outside contractors and sub-contractors as required to accomplish maintenance, which may include procuring parts and services. Follows blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schematics or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs ensuring the beautification and upkeep of the Facility. Perform preventative maintenance inspections/tasks per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and document maintenance concerns/resolutions; providing action plans and status reports as needed. Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Supervisor, HVAC/R Mechanic. Has a general knowledge of DNV, NFPA, AADMS, ADA, OSHA, local, state and federal codes, requirements or regulations and is in accordance with Riverside policies and procedures. Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses, mask, hearing protection, and gloves as needed.
• Operate and maintain a variety of work-related tools and equipment such as power saws, drills, air compressors, and various hand tools required. Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials, and work area.
• Performs/Assists co-workers outside of related skill when required during manning short falls or in an Emergency situation to include but not limited to: General Facility Maintenance, HVAC/R, Plumbing, and/or Electrical work. Snow Removal. Assist other RRMC departments/units in times of Disaster.

The Sr Principal Engineer - M&S is a technical leadership role. Performs simulation activities using CAE tools to model, analyze and provide creative, feasible solutions to problems encountered in product development. Communicates simulation methodology, inputs, assumptions, results and recommended actions to design engineering and leadership verbally and through written reports. 

YOUR IMPACT:  

• Create models and preform analysis on new or existing products (vehicles and vehicle subsystems, aerial and other vocational segment products) using CAE tools such as ALTAIR suite of analysis software.
• Propose appropriate simulation approaches and methodologies to maximize customer value.
• Maintain effective communication with internal customers on project scope, technical approach, timing, and results. 
• Provide clear interpretation of simulation and analysis results to customers through technical reports and presentations.
• Provide technically feasible approaches for product improvement to result in improved performance and weight / cost reductions based on analysis and experience.
• Follow established best practices and modeling methodologies to ensure a consistent approach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with eight (8) or more years of related experience.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Accredited Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or engineering Mechanics.
