About the Role
Base location: Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire
Salary: £28,072 to £32,605 plus overtime
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
You'll be working as part of a team carrying out, maintenance and construction works on our overhead electricity network, installing poles and pole mounted equipment. This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working outdoors and on public highways, farms and wilderness areas, where you'll also hold responsibility for operating a HIAB and a Unimog mounted crane.
What do I need?
- To be successful in this role you'll preferably have experience operating a lorry mounted loader (HIAB), have Slinger / Signaller experience.
- A HGV class 2 license is required for this role.
- Safety is our number one priority and you must be confident to act on your own initiative and as part of a team, completing on site risk assessments and lifting plans.
- Finally, flexibility will be required for this role, as you may be required to form part of a call out rota to attend to emergencies outside of normal working hours as required.
