PRODUCTION OPERATIVES

Morson are exclusively recruiting for several Production Operative opportunities, operating machinary for the creation of ID documentation for various government and commercial organisations.

Whilst the Production Operatives are initially on a 3-6 month contract, initially although likely to be long-term.

SHIFT PATTERN (guareteed weekly hours) - DAYS- 36 days holiday

£13.68 per hour PAYE PLUS £1.65 per hour holiday pay rising to £2.20 per hour holiday pay after 12 weeks

EARLIES/LATES

37.5 hours per week

Week 1 earlies- Monday -Friday 6am-2.00pm

Week 2 lates – Monday-Friday 2.00-10pm

Experience required for the role is flexible, will consider those without manufacturing/production operative experience. Administration/retail backgrounds will be considered. Also those without workplace experience but willing to learn. Those from Printing backgronds would be highly suitable, although not essential.

Production Operative ROLE PROFILE

In this role you will operate each of the processes within the full work stream of activities within the personalisation and printing of ID Documentation.

This will include:

• Operating of BookMaster One personalisation machine
• Quality inspection
• Bowe Insertion machine
• Vault operations and goods receiving and shipping.
• You’ll complete daily/ weekly maintenance tasks and work with your peers on 5S and problem solving activities

A week in the life of a Production operative:

• • You’ll complete daily maintenance and cleaning of the machines and surrounding areas.
• • You’ll operate the machines and/ or processes and rigorously follow the standard work for each of these tasksble

Role overview

Content Production Apprentice – PA Media



PA Media, the UK’s national news agency, is looking for Content Production apprentices to work in its Data division based in
Howden, East Yorkshire. Through a full-time work placement with dedicated time to study each week, candidates will learn
on-the-job in a fast-paced media organisation supplying content to high-profile UK businesses and media outlets. Candidates will
develop core soft skills to aid long-term career development alongside the day-to-day duties of a content production role.



We are particularly keen to recruit candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, and during the assessment process we will be

The program is a 12-15 month placement. Primarily, candidates will work and develop in content production roles but will have
exposure to business support functions and SMEs throughout the duration of the program to aid development of core soft skills:

All apprentices will be mentored by a senior people leader within the business, ensuring their development is tracked and

At the end of the placement, the candidate will be required to complete a written assessment which demonstrates a full
understanding of the business area they have been assigned to and recommendations on areas where the business could improve.



Work will be completed on location in PA’s Howden office for training and development. There will be one day of mandatory academic
learning per week and the preference is that this day is spent on location at the college.
