Job Title: Production Operatives

Location: Stone , ST15

Hours: - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (08:00 - 20:30)

Hours: - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (08:00 - 20:30)

Salary: £11.50 + paid breaks

Kenect Recruitment are currently looking for Production Operatives in Stone with Immediate starts available. Our prestigious client are the pioneers of the sustainable packaging and supply overseas as well as in the UK.

*Due to the nature of the work, there is no heavy lifting involved. *

What will I be doing?

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Package wool into boxes ready for distribution
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Package finished products for shipment or storage

What do we need from you?

• Basic math skills
• Counting, for measuring and calculating quantities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

CNC Setter Operator

Milling

£20.76 and £20.95 per hour

Must have experience with setting / operating 5 axis, 4 axis or 3 axis CNC Milling machines

Rotating shifts

6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday

Rotating to 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday - 12pm to 6pm Friday

Set and Operate using Fanuc Control

Will be a permanent position

Based in Stone, Staffordshire

Working in manufacturing and production environment

Experienced in machining complex components from a variety of metals / alloys (Titanium, Cast Iron, Tungsten, etc…)

Duties of a CNC Setter Operator

• Experience of Milling
• Set and operate CNC machinery to produce designated components.
• Set part datums using probing cycles and manual methods
• Able to enter and change tool lengths and datum positions as and when needed.
• Ensure all equipment used is in calibration and good operating condition
• Previous work experience on 5 axis, 4 axis or 3 axis CNC Machines

Experience required for a CNC Setter Operator

• Milling
• Set and operate CNC using Fanuc control
• Relevant experience within Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
• Understanding of Engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of control systems
• Change tools, know speeds and feeds
• Ability to use a variety of in process gauging and inspection equipment
• Machining experience
• Experienced in machining complex components from a variety of metals / alloys (Titanium, Cast Iron, Tungsten, etc…)
• Good communicator, written and verbal
• Working in a manufacturing and production background

Hours of work for a CNC Setter Operator

Rotating shifts

6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 12pm Friday

Rotating to 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday - 12pm to 6pm Friday

£20.76 and £20.95 per hour
