CPCS Hoist Operator -Shrewsbury

O'Neill & Brennan have a vacancy for a Hoist Operator to start work on a busy Refurbishment project site in Shrewsbury.

The location of the project is easily accessible by public transport.

Hours are between 07:30 - 5p.m., Monday - Friday.

Candidates must have a valid a BLUE CPCS Hoist Operator

Hoist Operator duties:

• Operate either passenger or materials hoist.
• Keep platforms clear of materials.
• Load and unload the hoist.
• Make sure hoist is safely secured before and at the end of each shift.
• Carry out daily checks on the hoists working order.

Key Responsibilities:

* Weigh and prepare ingredients for mixing.
* Operate and monitor mixers and machines to ensure continuous product flow.

* Monitor product cooling, weigh, bag, and pass it to storage.
* Segregate damaged products, ensuring only the best quality reaches the customer.
* Report any machine or production issues promptly to the management.




Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, and Hygiene at Level 2.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety in food production.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client a leading beef processing site.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives to work at ABP in Shrewsbury.

Please note this role is working in a chilled food production environment.

This is a full-time role with fixed, guaranteed shifts.

Day shifts:
- Monday to Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm with one weekday and every Sunday off.

The rate of pay for day shifts is £12.24 per hour and overtime is paid at £17 per hour
- Sundays and Bank holidays are paid at £22.66 per hour.

Night shifts:
- Sunday to Friday, 5pm - 1:30am with one weekday and every Saturday off.

The rate of pay for night shifts is £12.68 per hour, and overtime is paid at £17.66 per hour
- Saturdays & Bank holidays are paid at £23.54 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative you will work in a chilled food production environment to process beef meat into burgers, meat balls and mince.

You will be required to pick and pack items ready for distribution.

You should be physically fit to work in fast-paced environment.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Production Operative will be happy working in a busy chilled production environment and able to handle raw meat.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Print Operator to join our client in Warrington on a permanent basis, our client is a leading print business.

The primary goal of the Laser and Digital Print Operator role is to ensure that all printed files are produced in time to meet SLA's and to agreed quality standards.

Salary:

£25,500 per annum

Shift Pattern - 37.5 hours per week
Thursday , Friday, Saturday - 6.45am until 7.15pm

1 hour paid lunch break

Job Details:

• To ensure all of the clients personalised laser output is printed on the correct stationary and in a timely manner.
• To ensure that all of the correct procedures are followed for ISO quality checking and the appropriate paperwork is completed.
• To ensure all stock levels of consumables and stationery are maintained and to replace old and out of date versions of stationary are replaced with updated versions.
• To record daily and hourly workflow from lasers and to ensure the output is passed on to the finishing, machine or hand enclosing section in a timely manner.
• To help ensure that all of the departments SLA's are met.
• The perform the required daily machine safety checks.
• To raise and log all engineer calls.
• Undertake support tasks as directed by the Laser Print Shift Manager and Laser Print Manager.
• Effectively deal with internal and external telephone and email enquiries.
• To adhere to the production schedules.
• Liaise with Client Services, Production Planning, and all other internal Production Departments as and when necessary.
• To undertake any investigatory processes where it is deemed appropriate.
• Achieve team and individual targets as set by the Laser Management Team.
• Good time keeping and attendance.
• Maintain a tidy and clean work area ensuring that the laser print machines are kept in a clean and orderly manner.
• Understand and adhere to the company policies and procedures with particular emphasis on quality and health and
• safety.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience within the print industry this is desired but not essential as fully training will be provided.
