Forklift Operator Required for an upcoming project in Watton-At-Stone

Our specialist Trades & Labour team are seeking a CPCS Forklift Operator for a job in Watton-At-Stone

Each Forklift Operator must:
* Hold a CPCS Card
* Have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - Hard Hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves & goggles)
* Be hard working, reliable and punctual
* Have good communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative or as part of a team.

Assembly Technician (Fully Onsite - Monday - Friday)
3 month contract (January, February, March)

Description: The ideal candidate is responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembling parts and components accurately, testing the assembled components and reporting any faults.

This role also involves testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues that may arise. The successful Assembly Technician must be able to work safely and efficiently with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment. You must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working hours Monday-Thursday 8-5. Fridays 8-2.30
Duties and responsibilities
Assemble components in accordance with technical drawings.
Test completed assemblies for correct operation.
Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Identify and replace defective assembly components.
Investigate and diagnose faults.
Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Rate: £40 per hour (PAYE) or £53 per hour (Umbrella)
IR35: This role will fall within IR35 guidelines so we cannot use Limited Companies
Duration: 12 months

A leading high-technology manufacturer of special purpose machinery, near Cambridge, are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to be based in their state of the art facility.

We are seeking applications from accomplished Manufacturing Engineers who have experience in complex mechanical systems, electronics and software assemblies, along with an understanding of documentation and work processes

Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

• A strong background in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, along with a relevant qualification
• Experience of NPI processes is an essential requirement
• Substantiated knowledge in Lean Manufacturing
• Awareness of Design for Manufacture (DFM)
• Experience of Jigs & Fixtures manufacturing
• Comprehensive knowledge of the engineering process from design to production

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assist Designers and Engineers in product development projects using Design for Manufacture knowledge.
• Develop design, engineering and manufacturing processes that can be documented and repeated.
• Provide leadership and direction to help rectify any manufacturing matters and perform solutions including process change.
• Enhance and sustain documentation and amplify production with best practice procedures.
• Will need to be able to commit to travel 5-6 weeks across the 12 months to other sites.

The Client
Our Client is a well established company within the water treatment industry. For four decades they have forged a well deserved reputation at the forefront of this industry in the UK. In addition to distributing standard products their ability to build bespoke water treatment solutions to a customers specification has helped set them apart from the competition.

The ROLE
Due to continued success they now require a Production Manager to oversee the production process. The successful candidate will be required to:

* Lead a small team of multi-disciplined (mechanical and electrical) assemblers
* Plan production schedule
* Order the products to ensure stock levels remain adequate
* Quality standards
* Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
* Monitor productivity rates and product standards
* Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
* Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget
