Please note this role is working in a chilled food production environment.

This is a full-time role with fixed, guaranteed shifts.

Day shifts:
- Monday to Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm with one weekday and every Sunday off.

The rate of pay for day shifts is £12.24 per hour and overtime is paid at £17 per hour
- Sundays and Bank holidays are paid at £22.66 per hour.

Night shifts:
- Sunday to Friday, 5pm - 1:30am with one weekday and every Saturday off.

The rate of pay for night shifts is £12.68 per hour, and overtime is paid at £17.66 per hour
- Saturdays & Bank holidays are paid at £23.54 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative you will work in a chilled food production environment to process beef meat into burgers, meat balls and mince.

You will be required to pick and pack items ready for distribution.

You should be physically fit to work in fast-paced environment.

Our perfect Production Operative will be happy working in a busy chilled production environment and able to handle raw meat.

No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.

Working in the Dip Moulding department

Duties of a Production Supervisor

• Managing a team of people
• Monitor output vs achievements vs targets
• Run the Dip Moulding section to schedules
• Monitor scrap levels
• Ensure that the Integrated Management System requirements are maintained
• Assist the Production Manager
• Ensure that all maintenance and housekeeping duties are adhered to

Experience of a Production Supervisor

• Ideally worked in a manufacturing and production environment
• Must be computer literate
• Previous Team Leading or Supervising experience
• Knowledge of working with IMS
• Familiar with machine setup and targets
• Manage, train and develop staff

Your new role
As a Production Planning Administrator, your role will involve assisting the Production Manager and Factory Director in overseeing the entire production process. You will help in ensuring high standards of quality, food safety, and workplace safety. This role requires you to work under the direction of the Factory Director and provide regular updates on progress. • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure effective teamwork and clear communication.
• Work with other departments, such as quality control, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of resources needed for production
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, material usage, and waste levels. Use this data to make decisions that improve overall production efficiency.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed on the production floor. Conduct safety audits and training to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Oversee the production schedule to ensure that products are manufactured and delivered to customers on time. Work with logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Resolve any production-related issues that could impact customer satisfaction, such as delays or quality concerns. Communicate effectively with the customer service team to address and resolve these concerns quickly.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need experience in the following:

• A degree or relevant qualification in Production Management, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in food manufacturing is essential.
