The role
As a Mechanical Technician you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your work will directly contribute to the successful production and testing of high-quality mechanical systems, ensuring the continued development of our cutting-edge technology.
Day-to-day, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the mechanical assembly and testing of a wide range of equipment, from small sub-assemblies to large process plants.

Assemble and test mechanical components and systems, ranging from small sub-assemblies to large process plant equipment.

Participate in mechanical development projects, including building and testing of equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols in a safety-critical environment.

Work with complex mechanical assemblies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tight tolerances.

Support ongoing production assembly and testing projects to meet deadlines and project requirements.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the assembly and testing process.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Whetstone
Essential experience of the Mechanical Technician
- Experience working in safety-critical environments.
- Proven experience with complex mechanical assemblies and working to tight tolerances is desirable.
Qualifications for the Mechanical Technician
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline) is required.
Security Clearance
