An excellent opportunity has arisen to be part of a dynamic Facilities team that is constantly developing and looking for new and improved ways of managing fire safety across our portfolio of non-domestic and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to be progressive and adaptable within the role in the fast paced and changing legislative world of facilities management.
Customer safety is at the heart of everything we do at Beyond Housing, and you will take center stage in the delivery of a busy programme of maintenance and repairs programmes. Solving problems and managing high volumes of work will be required to achieve our compliance targets, and you will do this with the support and guidance of an experienced and dedicated Facilities team.
The Facilities Co-ordinator is a developing role, and you will play a large part in its progression as facilities and fire safety compliance continue to adapt and we continue to develop our procedures. The Fire Safety Bill is progressing through parliament and it will bring greater focus and responsibility for us, but also provide the support required to deal with non-conformance and access issues to carry out our maintenance work.
You will need to be organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload with an eye for detail. You’ll be responsible for receiving and processing a wide range of orders, certifications and complex documents, whilst ensuring you provide brilliant customer service at all times.
You’ll be responsible for effective and efficient administration that will underpin the Facilities team.
Our maintenance partners are key stakeholders, therefore you will play a key role in helping to develop specification content, tender documents and maintenance schedules. To do this you will develop key relationships across the organisation, providing and receiving expert support from our Health and Safety, Maintenance, Housing and Estate teams, hence sustaining a collective and collaborative approach.
If you are excited by the challenging, fast paced world of facilities management, apply today!
