This is a fully remote job and based in Cardiff.

As a Junior Field Technician, you will get to support one of our most prestigious clients, providing vital repair services in retail environments within an assigned territory. You will be part of our customer facing technical teams.

Full product training is provided. Company vehicle and fuel card. Competitive salary with additional overtime at enhanced rates and standby payments.

Responsibilities:
• Gain familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures.
• Participate in assigned hardware and software trainings (on the job, classroom and web based).
• Utilise Diebold Nixdorf’s diagnostic tools to perform troubleshooting.
• Perform hardware repairs and maintenance.
• Clean, adjust and configure components.
• Configure and install applicable software.
• Perform routine checks according to documented procedures.
• Instruct and train customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
• Participate in the implementation of measures to achieve agreed KPIs.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Who we are looking for:
• Relevant qualification or proven knowledge based in I.T.
• Willingness to learn from and participate in regular training (Some remote).
• Ideally have an understanding one of the following IT, EPOS, Break Fix, Customer Support.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full, clean UK driver’s license required.
