Summary of the role
An exciting opportunity has come available for a Head of Facilities to report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
As the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for our facilities management operations, ensuring our offices and sites are maintained to the highest standards.
This critical role involves strategic planning, resource management, and leading a team of facilities professionals to support Diligenta's business objectives.

What you'll be doing
- Ongoing daily property management, liaising with landlords on all repairs, housekeeping and H&S compliance.
- Lease management, liaison on all aspect of lease with 3rd party landlord, or client, where space is within contract, to include agreement on outgoings- rent and service charge.
- All facilities management including overseeing a team responsible for facilities management service to support business - (Cleaning/Security/Maintenance).
- Security management/liaison as required as instructed, inc intruder alarms, key holding services and door entry/access control systems.
- Assist management of security breaches by site and CCTV management and ownership.
- Finance and budgeting, Liaison with the finance team to prepare and monitor budgets, authorise invoices for property related expenditure.
- Procurement and management of utilities including annual reporting on consumption.
- Assist business achieve strategic objectives to manage energy, and monitor/reduce carbon footprint.
What we're looking for
- General practise surveyor (may be chartered with RICS qualification).
- Facilities management experience with supporting lease knowledge.
- Facilities manager skilled in building fabric.
- Contracts/Project/Client Management.
- Strong relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, including negotiation and solution development.
- Ability to undertake travel to other locations as reasonably required.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in Facilities management.
