Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Site Technician to join the team. This is a site based role, UK wide, but you will be required to attend our Stafford office on a Monday & Friday each week.
What are the main responsibilities for the Site Technician?
You will be assisting in the maintenance and decommissioning of telecom sites carrying out a wide range of associated tasks, this will include both tower and ground based activities including climbing on a regular basis.
The Site Technician will ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction at all times, ensure all company standards relating to Health & Safety, the Environment and Quality are implemented and followed, whilst maintaining clear and concise records in accordance with company procedures. Key to the role is also keeping up to date with changes to industry and technical standards as directed, and working closely with colleagues, positively contributing within the various teams.
What does our ideal candidate look like?
You will have an outgoing personality who enjoys the outdoors. Ideally the candidate will come from a manual work background or a trade however this is advantageous and not a requirement. The job involves a lot of working at height therefore the ideal candidate will have a head for heights.
