Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Newcastle
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Randstad Solutions are currently working with a Facilities Management organisation, who are seeking an qualified, time served Electrician who has experience in the commercial sector, carrying out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis across Newcastle.

Main duties will include:
- Take an active role in fixing and maintaining electrical systems and other minor building services including basic joinery and plumbing.
- You'll work with a skilled engineering team and perform scheduled maintenance tasks on different parts of the site, such as lighting, electrical installations, security systems, motors, pumps, and other building services.
- You may also be on call for emergencies, and you should respond quickly to fix unexpected issues.
- Assist with minor upgrades and changes, and find and fix problems with equipment safely.
- Follow safety guidelines and company rules, keep records, and perform specific duties assigned by site management.
- Attend additional training as needed to stay competent and comply with your role.
- Be able to participate in an on call rota.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ/City and Guilds
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working within a Facilities Management environment
