Clinical Undertaking patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use, through shared decision-making conversations with patients. Carrying out medicines optimisation tasks including effective medicine administration (e.g. checking inhaler technique), supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation. Where required, utilise consultation skills to work in partnership with patients to ensure they use their medicines effectively. Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy?

We are currently looking for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Addenbrooke’s Hospital branch.

Your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process. The role will also involve establishing and developing long term relationships with customers, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.

You must have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services & Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification. In order to be successful, you must be registered with the GPhC and be able to provide a membership number upon request.

The hours & Working Pattern of the role are:

40 Hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday - 9:00am - 6:00pm
