The Pfizer Grange Castle facility comprises of 1.1 million square feet of buildings located on a 90-acre site. About the Role:
You will be directly involved in the management of GMP materials being receipted, dispensed, delivered, and shipped around the site and PGC network, ensuring that they meet all specifications for safety, potency, and efficacy. You will work within the guidelines of cGMP to ensure conformance with all regulatory requirements and site SOPs, while assisting in the improvement of all current processes through our Continuous Improvement Program.
Assist in maintaining a safety orientated culture, cGMP compliant work environment always.
Perform initial troubleshooting of issues identified during routine operations.
Training and mentoring of colleagues.
Provide input into the creation and maintenance of area SOPs and batch records.
Use Lean tools as part of daily operations (e.g., Method 1, 5S) to optimize efficiency and drive culture of Continuous Improvement and Zero Defects.
Assist in support of new product introduction.
Proactive & effective communication within Supply Chain and across teams on site.
Participate in cross functional teams as required.
Partner closely with customers and stakeholders to understand and deliver on commitments within specified turn-around times and escalate when necessary.
Participate in initiatives such as 5S, Standard Work, Data Integrity and IMEX programs as they arise.
This is currently a shift-based role (12-hour shift on a 2-cycle schedule).
We have exciting opportunities at Pfizer Grange Castle for those with little or no experience in Pharma/Biopharma.
Experience Required:
Minimum Educational Requirement is Leaving certificate.
Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires flexibility and initiative.
Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and mentor peers.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Ireland for the full duration of the contract.
Additional Garda vetting, and background checks will required for this role.
Nice to have:
Experience in Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical or Supply Chain an advantage but not essential.
Experience executing manufacturing operations in accordance with SOP’s an advantage but not essential.
Lean experience using Standard Work, Method 1 and 5S
Key criteria:
Able to pass an aviation security vetting process, that includes an enhanced background check.
